We are OPEN! To ensure the safety of our customers and staff, some of our office rules and procedures have changed. Appointments required. No walk-ins will be allowed. Please call to inquire about same-day availability.
Listed below are the practices & procedures that have changed in our office. These changes will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
- An appointment is REQUIRED, no walk-ins will be allowed. Please call our office to inquire about same-day availability.
- All guests are pre-screened before their appointment via phone to let them know that they will have to postpone if recent fever, cough or known exposure to COVID-19.
- Our office has always followed CDC/OSHA guidelines for patron safety and since April 3, 2020, we have required ALL GUESTS to wear a face mask or covering while in our office and wash their hands with soap/water upon arrival. Hand sanitizer is provided in many locations as well. Masks will not be removed while in the office.
- All guests will have their temperature checked with infrared forehead thermometer before starting any examination.
- All guests will complete an illness questionnaire pertaining to COVID-19, and sign that they understand the inherent risks of contracting COVID-19 in public. They sign that they agree that the doctor and office will not be held responsible for their risk of contracting COVID-19 during this pandemic.
- If a guest notifies us that they have tested positive for COVID-19 and were in our office within the past week, we will notify other guests who may have come in proximity to that guest that day.
- Only one guest (parent/guardian) is allowed to accompany a student to their appointment. This is the only way for us to maintain safe separation and sanitation practices.
- Please be ON TIME to your scheduled appointment. We use Clorox and CaviCide on all surfaces after each guest and Lysol in the air. We can not wipe the tables dry, for the topical agents to work they must be allowed to dry on their own. Thus, being timely to appointments will assist greatly in making certain there is time between guests for this to be effective.
- We use a UV Sanitizer in every room of our office, multiple times a day. The UV Sanitizer sterilizes the air and surfaces (e.g., walls, floors, ceilings, art work, etc.) that cannot be cleaned as often or as easily. Unfortunately, the UV Sanitizer does produce a smell similar to burned dust while it completes its sterilization process. Thank you for understanding and we apologize for the odd-smell!
- Snacks/drinks must be asked for. Please feel free to ask, we are here to serve you!
Thank you for your patience and understanding during these complicated times. Please call our office at (469) 657-5244 if you have any questions or concerns.
