What is a Pre-Participation Evaluation (PPE)?
A pre-participation evaluation, or sports physical, is meant to help maintain the health and safety of athletes. Its purpose is not to exclude a child from sport-related activities, but to make participation safe and to alert the parent/guardian of any health care issues that may arise. Dallas ISD requires an annual Physical Evaluation to participate in any school-sponsored athletics, practices or games.

The Standard UIL Physical takes about 15 minutes to complete and is now only $5 (usually $10) per student. Times are tough right now and we understand. We are doing our part to ensure that every child has the opportunity to participate in school-sponsored sports.
